Kentucky Lake campgrounds
We are trying to plan a trip to KY lake and need some help. We are a large family and (10 kids) and need to find an AFFORDABLE place with lots of activities or things to do for the Labor Day weekend this year. Prizer Point is awesome but not practical. Can't afford it with a $10 anemity armband per day per child :(. We need room for a 37 foot TT and either a site that will allow us to also put a tent for our oldest 4 children or another primitive tent site. Would have to have swimming and preferably a basketball court and mini golf or something else for my teens to do. Help please! I liked piney campground but everything was already booked that was long enough to accommodate our rig. Has anyone stayed at Hillman Ferry or Big Bear Resort? Holiday Hill resort was going to be 100 dollars a night for two sites. :-(. Large family's have it hard when it comes to affordable camping. Plus I don't like my babies separated in a large campground on a holiday weekend. I need some good advice and suggestions.
We also would consider lake Barkley or anywhere in the land between the lakes region in KY or TN.
