Going up i75 and we are looking for a nice place to stay or a couple days. Anyone have any favorites they could share?

Lake Cumberland State Resort Park. Probably an hour or so off 75, but very nice.

Second the recommendation. The campground is right next door to the Kentucky Horse Park. Lots of displays, a museum, and horses. The campground doesn't have pull through sites, but is very nice. However, check their schedule since the campground fills up during events such as the bluegrass festival.

There is a nice bike trail that is just outside the gate to Ky Horse Park Campground too, just an added benefit. We live nearby and camp there often when visiting our children. We like the sites on the outside circle since we have dogs and like a "backyard".

I appreciate the recommendation! We stayed at the Kentucky horse park the last two nights. They had lots of activity as they were practicing for this weekends hunter/jumper competition. The grounds are very well cared for. Didn't know I knew so little about horses!
