Depending on which direction you travel north... One of my favorite camping areas is beaverly beach campground, it's approx 20 miles north of Daytona Beach close to Flagler. It's not nearly as nice or luxurious as Bluewater Key (also one of my fav places) but having the ocean waves crashing a few few away from the RV makes up for that.

Grassy Key RV is pretty nice. I understand Knights Key RV is still open... it was supposed to have been closed and condo's put up. It's not as refined as other places, but still a nice, fun place to visit.
One other place that we really liked is Big Pine Fishing Lodge. Unfortunately, we don't go there anymore as we travel with our dogs and dogs are not allowed due to the Key Deer that roam through the park. I doubt that our 6 lb yorkies work be a concern to the deer, but rules are rules.

Sunshine Key at mm 39 is nice. It's not a resort like Bluewater but a good place to explore Big Pine Key and Marathon. Bahia Honda SP is worthwhile also.

Fiesta Key RV Park is a sister park to Sunshine. It's a little further north.

There are places to park your duality however ,ore then likely it will be in a few of the parking lots where you pay $10-20 for a day. Seems like most of the street parking is on the tight side, small narrow parking spots usually.

If you want to spend time in key west possibly stay at Boyd's and rent a electric car or scooters

There's a public parking lot at the corner of Margret and Caroline Streets. City operated so price is OK. Self Serve with a kiosk that takes credit cards.
Old Towne Garage ( city run) is at Grinnel and james and usually has plenty of spots open. My truck won't fit in garages as I have a ladder rack with kayak racks on it and it's too high. Another land lot that is privately owned is right near Simonton and Greene... I think they get $20/day. One other is over at the post office.

It's about 4 miles from the center of Stock Island to Duval St.

Boyd's campground is on Stock Island. Be sure to have lunch at the Hog Fish Grill on Stock Island.
