smbecht1:

G'morning from gorgeous Casa Grande, AZ.

Son lives in FL, and we're often there. Have stayed at Bluewater Key, and it's wonderful!! Pricey, but wonderful. Problem is, ya just wanna mix up a batch of, say,..."Dirty Monkeys", kick back, and R E L A X !!! Have a GREAT visit.

Stayed at Bluewater Key RV Resort many times - It's first class, very nice, good people around and like Chickadee said kick back and relax. Enjoy your stay there...

I have reservations at Boyd's just a short way from there for the week after Christmas. Although we have ocean front reservations they will not guarantee us a specific site as the computer system seems to have the power to place guests where it seems fit at the time of arrival.

It's probably too late to switch but can you book a specific site at Bluewater Key? What are the cost of the sites there?

Any additional information would also be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

I think ocean front is around $100.00 or more. There is no beach, only a place to put in a boat. Boy didn't like the look of the water, said it look like he was at long beach. Gave the dogs a bath when they come out of the water. Hope this helps.

Bluewater Key is booked solid with a 14 person deep standby. Looks like Boyd's is where I'll be headed. We made our reservations back in January because we tried in July the year prior and everything was booked by then.

I think Boyds Campground on Stock Island is the best, and most expensive
in the area.

I'm excited about going there, I just wish that with having reserved a year in advance I could have picked my site. I was told that I'm in site #50, would you know where that is on the water?
