Headed to knoebels campground and amusement park in Pa. this weekend. They do a fun halloween theme this time of year. Its a great time...especially for the kids. Anyone else going?

We went to the amusement park there this summer for the first time. Really liked it. I walked thru the campground and thought that it was very tightly spaced sites. Are there other sections of the campground that offer more space? I only walked thru the section by the covered bridge

Many of the spaces in the lower area if the campground are tight. Further in the campground the spaces are roomier. We had a great time. The park is really neat and definitely worth checking out, especially around halloween.

The local grocery store ( Weis Markets) sells ride tickets that are 20% cheaper than at the gate. $20 book of tickets for $16.

Knoebel's is great! We try to go every year for a day trip. We've also camped there twice - once in Knoebel's offsite campground, and once in another private campground just down the road. Both were fine, IIRC.

Didn't make it this year - took the kids to Disney World for the first time (in the MH). Great experience, and I'm not sure I'll ever camp in a better CG than Fort Wilderness...

As former PA residents, we loved going to Knoebels and made a point of stopping there during our cross-country trip last year. Great time.

Just don't ever make the mistake I did. Tried to pick the family up so they wouldn't have to walk to the rented RV in a thunderstorm, and wound up getting myself into the road that goes between the picnic pavilions in a 28 foot C.

Seemed wide enough...except for the overhang on the tin roof.

That's when I heard the sickening sound of my deposit disappearing....
