Koa Mt. Rushmore

Took the Wife and boys to Mt. Rushmore last fall and stayed at the KOA campgrounds 5 min. from the monument... AWESOME place to stay and play.. 2 pools and horse back riding also...very well maintained and lots to do... Enjoyed and will go back again!! Paul

Wayne, check out Rafter J Bar Ranch - Home . We stayed here last June. A great place for the dog up in the woods and very close to Hill City in case you need a milk shake late at night. We would ease up to the office each afternoon to partake of some hand dipped ice cream however.

KOA is more kid friendly which of course means more kids.
