I agree, I always look at RV Parks Review and read all the reviews before deciding where to bed down for the night. I too have been in some great KOA's and some not so great. The same holds true for the other RV Parks, there are good and bad. At least with KOA, you know what to expect before even pulling in and they have been getting better.

We have not stayed at a KOA this year, specifically because of price. I just can't justify the expenditure when there are other places nearby that offer similar amenities at a much, more affordable rate. I have nothing against KOA at all. I just find them pricey.
