We're currently in the middle of our week at the Lake Cachuma County Park in the hills between Santa Barbara and Solvang California. We started full timing only a month ago and we're starting to check out more public parks so we stayed here rather than the private park we usually stay nearby.

What a find! It's a beautiful park in a great, quiet setting. It's only $180/week and the sites are large and shaded... but only 30 amps.

Rick, you picked the right time of year...it can get really HOT during the summer months and 30 amp not sufficient to keep a large unit cool.

We're at El Capitan this weekend and Refugio next and the first weekend we are at Carpinteria. If you are there too and see the flag stop by and say hell-o!

Ronnie I can sure see your point about being here at the right time of year. I failed to mention that sites were limited to 30 amp.

Hell on Wheels, thanks for the invite but we're going to do some things in Solvang and Los Olivos this weekend. We're paid up here through Monday when we move down to San Dimas for the Pamona RV Show. We like checking that out each year. Have fun.
