I think you'll like LLSP, not too big/not too small. There's not much to do, attraction-wise, in the area (the lake is popular for boating, though) so just enjoy the campground. They do have a mini-golf course near the check in station. We like the sites that back up to the channel (been in sites 118 & 112). They show family-rated movies on weekends at a little ampetheater there. The Lakeview Trail is nice for an easy walk or you can go across this footbridge to another trail on Blackberry Island. We had dinner at a local restaurant right in downtown Minster called The Wooden Shoe Inn. It was a bit outdated in decorating (1980's style), but the food was pretty good. The one thing weird I remember about the place is they have no menus - the servers tell you what they have to eat.
Enjoy!

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
