Very nice, and a beautiful area. We took an exploratory drive down there from Tom Johnson's a couple years ago when we picked up our then new motor home.

Which park is this in?

How did you get it there? From Asheville last year we barely made it in the toad (switchbacks, narrow roads, trees hanging) and it only got worse near the water - but VERY nice once there.

Beautiful coach, site, and area!

We spent a month nearby last year at Four Paws Kingdom near Rutherfordton and explored the area in the toad. Great spot!

This lot is in Apple Valley Farm Motorcoach Resort in Lake Lure. The resort is part of the Rumbling Bald Resort property and is restricted to 32' and longer Class A MH. There are 47 privately owned lots, many of which are for rent. Some are also for sale. If you go, follow the driving directions they give on the website and keep your speed slow after you leave the interstate and you will not have trouble. Following your GPS or other mapping service WILL cause you problems. BTW, tow dollies and trailers are not allowed (no storage place), so if you have a toad it will need to be hooked directly to your MH.
