Lake Placid/ Adirondak

Anyone camped in the Adirondacks in Lake Placid? We need suggestions for camp sites. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm usually not KOA supporter , but the KOA at Whiteface Mountain, East of Lake Placid is fine!

Stayed at Charlie's Inn Junction twice in the off season (November). Nice place and great people. Also has a bar and restaurant if that interests you.

It is very close to Paul Smith College where two of my son's were interested in going.
