Leave around Jan-10 instead for Quartsite AZ

Beyond that I can not recommend anything in the area.. Or to be more precise, I can recommend just about everything in that part of the country.

Decided to stick around. Learning Navajo; Edward Abbey's Ghost said, "Stay".
Get of your rolling home and kayak into the canyons for a few days...

Yes that is Navajo country.. I'm told, but have not confirmed that I have a speck or two of Indian Blood.. The particular "Tribe" that my mother named is not a single tribe but a group, of which Navajo is a part. Very likely a different part.. But hey. I got to meet a few while I was there. Good people. (At least the ones I met).

Lake Powell

Can you believe all those people and their boats out in the middle of the desert? When we were there last year at the truck stop and everyone was gasing up their boats. It was Labor Day weekend!

Been to lake Powell twice at Halls Crossing/Bullfrog Landing both times. Beautiful country. Perfect place to get away and rent a boat!

We were at Wahweap rv resort in June. Great place. Took the boat ride to Rainbow Bridge. The largest natural arch in the world.
