Lake Powell on the beach?

Can anyone tell me where the Lake Powell on the shoreline camp is? Can't seem to find the RV park or is it a Boondocker site? If so, how do I get there?

Go here, this member has a video at the sand dunes and right under the video is a photo of him camping on the beach at Lake Powell. You can send him a Private Message for more information.

Search for Lone Rock Beach primitive camping. It is boondocking, but there is a dump station close by. Showers and toilets are also available. The ground is hard pack and mostly level to the water. If you go by the dunes you will experience the sudden sandstorms. We were there for a week this year and it was fantastic.

Here you go:

We've always stayed on the bluff at Lone Rock with our 40' motorhome. It's a great view and no sand to worry about sinking in. It does happen down below on the beach. You have to know where the soft spots are hidden!

Apologies for the delay -- I've been cooking Thanksgiving dinner and dealing with slow Internet! I'm the guy LJowdy was referring to.

Yep, Lone Rock Beach, just across the Utah line from Page, AZ. I'm here right now. https://www.campendium.com/lone-rock-beach. After filing charges against the raven that raided my trash bag, he agreed to take aerial photos for me in exchange for a commuted sentence:

Dry camping for $14/night. Glen Canyon NRA. Sand isn't much worry right now, even right next to the water like I am, although the last time I was here a decade ago many people were getting stuck. While the dump station is open, beware that the water fill is shut off for the winter, although they allowed me to fill up free of charge just down the road at Wahweap Marina, where full hookup sites are available well back from the water, if that's what you're into.

If you need any info, just shout out and I'll do my best to answer. I'll be publishing a video to Grand Adventure on YouTube about this place in late December.

Great pictures that "Raven" took, I'm impressed. Maybe I'll add one to the Christmas list.
Looks nice down there for the time of year.

It was gorgeous -- highs around 70 with intense sun, lows in the 30s. Unusual for this time of year.

That raven was of the rarest of species, a DJI Mavic Pro raven. In the end, despite his criminal past he turned out to be a pretty decent guy, so I kept him around. He also came along with me yesterday on a 30-mile off-road adventure to Alstrom Point to take some more footage that will be part of that Grand Adventure episode 13 from Lake Powell on YouTube:

Thanks so much for your "Ravens" model #, I see mostly 5 stars out of 5 reviews on Amazon on it and a 7 km. max range, Wow. Amazing video as well. We visited the beach and hiked the area, but the shots from above gives you another perspective on how gorgeous this area is.

It is indeed a very different perspective. I like mixing up drone footage with other handheld cameras - all drone gets boring by itself.
