Lake Winnepesaukee, New Hampshire

Does any one have any experience with Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire? Where are the best RV resorts/campgrounds? I'm looking for a place for 4-6 campers, the largest is a 30 foot class A. We need full hookups and enjoy amenities such as pools and possibly hot tubs. Lakeside would be a major plus. All of us are 55+ with no children but enjoy a good time. Our time frame is the last weekend in June of 2015.

In northern New Hampshire, I like Mountain Lakes CG They just redid their pool to include water slides It has a lot of amenities and is on a lake. The area has a ton of stuff to do.

Ellacoya State Park is right on the lake but they do not accept pets. Turtle Kraal RV Park is very new and has a lot of potential. Owners are extremely nice and accommodating.

Meridith Woods Campground is near Lake W. Sites are large and very private. Its clean neat and well kept. There is a review in the campground section on this web site. Try Patricks Pub Restaurant if its still there, we were there several yrs ago.

Wr stay at meredith woods, clearwater and harbor hills. All nice but not on the lake. Clearwater is on a small lake, and has a beach. They have a pool and hottub across the street but you need to drive ( its in their other CG - meredith woods). If you plan on going out to shop and eat, harbor hills is slightly closer to meredith, nh, on the lake.
There is a campground in moultonborough that is by a bridge and on the lake, but I cant recall the name. I dont know what they offer in terms of amenities.
