What would be the nicest and closest campground to the Vegas strip?
Thanks

this is where we stayed a few years back. maybe a 5-7 minute drive from the strip. nice park but huge and not cheap. it sits adjacent to an interstate but is below the roadway so noise was not bad and we were in first row next to it. if they put you in that row be aware that there are electronic billboards along that stretch of interstate and the ads change every 10-15 seconds. we saw some RVs parked in such a way that they were exposed to those billboards 24/7.

Oasis is nice but a less expeyoption is Arizona Charlie’s which is five miles from the strip.

Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort is 5-6 miles to the south end of the strip. Very very nice place.

We've stayed there a couple times. Nothing fancy but we're not there for the campground.

Yes-- very nice place. Sites are customized by the individual owners. Ours had a full outdoor kitchen with bar and a huge gas fireplace.

There's a KOA at the Sams town casino. They have free shuttle service to the strip. The buffet in the casino is actually really good.

We have stayed at Arizona Charlies at least 4 or 5 times, the last time was 3 years ago. would stay there again, looked at Sams Town but didn't care for it. Stayed once at Circus Circus about 10 years ago when it was the KOA in Vegas. It is just a big blacktop lot with hookups, but the only choice to be "on the strip".

We stayed at Circus Circus last year and have booked to be back this year near the end of January.
It is nothing fancy but we don't go to Las Vegas to stay at the campground.
From there we could walk down to the Luxor (we stayed at the Luxor when we got married) or up to Freemont Street. We are still toadless so ability to get to places on foot is important to us. They also have very good public transit if walking is not for you.

Might consider South Point if you want a nice dry camping experience just south of the Strip on Las Vegas Blvd
