I am stopping in Los Vegas for a couple of nights at the end of the month ...

I have been looking at Arizona Charlie's RV Park as well as Sam's Town on Boulder Highway ...

Has anyone stayed in either of these RV parks recently?

No, but stayed at the Oasis right off the 15 fwy on Blue Diamond road. Super nice park with about 800 spots.

Skigramp,
Right next to Sam's Town, 2 blocks on Nellis is Las Vegas RV Resort (Formerly Holiday RV). We were extremely happy with the site and accomodations. We stayed there last November.

I have since found out that I can drive by the front of the casino and while "on-the-fly" drop money on the ground. It has the same affect as having spent 4 hours or so inside the casino - except for the buffet.

Wayne ...

Maybe that is why lots of people have an alternate name for the place

Lost Wages

One place you might give a call to is Main St. Casino.

This is one of the Freemont St casinos (The old Lost Wages)

Pluses and minuses

Plus. Very nice rate for a park in vegas. Full hook up. Security at night (They will escort you to your rig if you are on foot) walking distance to Freemont st and I'm mobility impaired (long walks HURT!)

Minus, Security is.. Well, let's just say you will like having the escort, needed
you are next to a freeway off ramp (the RV park used to extend under the freeway)
You are next to the central bus terminal
You are next to the fire station

None of which bothers me

20 bucks a night.. That did not bother me either when compared to sixty in another park
