I'm going to Las Vegas November 4th thru 7th. Where is a good campground to stay?

Signature Resort (Used to be Outdoor Resorts) is a nice place. If you want to rent a site, PM me. I can put you in touch with a lot owner. It is cheaper than renting through the resort office.

We stayed at KOA Circus Circus this summer. It is right on the strip and has shuttle service to get to where ever you want to go.

We stayed at Circus Circus during the summer of 2003. It's not a campground - more like a parking lot with hook ups (electrical kind that is as it is VEGAS!).

125 degrees on black top. Minimal room for your toad, big rigs sticking out into the roadway.

It was close to the strip but that was the only positive we saw. Hopefully its changed for the better in the last 5 years.

We travel there regularly to see the grandkids. We enjoy Oasis RV Resort. Nice fully paved with some grass on the sides. Two nice pools, one for families and one for adults. Gym, putting green, and full hookup with small general store. Shuttle takes you around town, but it makes many stops, so don't plan on using the shuttle to get someplace fast. It's our favorite. Recent local building of high rise condo's has diminished the view significantly. Outdoor resorts is nice, I've driven through in the car, but never stayed there. CircusCircus is on the strip, which makes the strip walkable. It is a goodly hike all the way to the MGM, but when I was younger I did it many times. Circus is just a parking lot with full hookups. There is a pool, but it is some distance to walk. Also, Circus caterers to family, so there will be many children running in the lot. All three parks are acceptable choices, and should have availability in Nov. Much further off the strip, up on Boulder Highway, Sam's Town has an RV park. Also a parking lot with full hookup. Sam's is a nice casino/hotel complex. Less hustle and bustle, but a longer drive to the strip.

Imho, Circus-Circus is probably the most appropriate name I can think of, after all Zoo-Z00 just would not sound right, Ken....

Years ago, we used to enjoy Sam's Town. Got to it from the South on US 95 from Boulder City. Another one was on I15 coming into LV from the West. Both are/were away from the Strip but not too far. We also used the RV park at Circus Curcus before KOA.....
