For a reasonably priced RV park, we prefer Sam's Town which is only about 6 miles from the strip and on casino property. Arizona Charlies is also good. Some of the parks mentioned previously are more expensive.

We've stayed at Sam's Town & Las Vegas RV Resort, both in the same area. Sam's Town is very reasonable but we like the LV RV Resort better, nicer pool, facilities & 24 hr security. Clubhouse and other public areas all remodeled, workers very friendly.

We will be staying at the Oasis the last weekend of this month. We like to stay here as it's easy off and on the 15 and is only two blocks west of the strip. It is also the easiest one to access the 205 westbound to the DWs inlaws place. We have stayed here several times and enjoy it. The last time was Thanksgiving of 2011 and yt was colder there than it was at home in Bremerton. Bummer.

Sam's Town is good. We prefer the Boulder Hwy park. They also have one on Nellis rd. it is older. They also run free shuttles to many casinos on the strip and downtown.

Kind of depends on what kind of camping your looking for. Vegas RV parks run the gamut from parking lot to country club types, from $ to $$$.

We have stayed a Las Vegas RV Resort several times and like it. It's $29 per night and seems to have pretty good security (guard at the gate). It is adjacent to Sams Club RV park and more secure than Sam's.

Close enough to the freeway and the Strip for us to be satisfied.

We stayed at Las Vegas RV Parks - Hitchin Post RV Park Las Vegas a few years ago. It's a few miles from the strip, but at the time it was among the cheapest we could find. Very quiet.

Just stayed at Thousand Trails on Boulder Hwy, really tight spots but OK, down the street the park at Arizona Charlies look nice, clean with cement pads at each site.

The area on Boulder Hwy is very seedy though, hookers walking the streets, druggies, drunks etc. Not the place to go for a stroll! Most of the parks have security and fencing.

We use to stay at Sam's Town but the open sewer system is what finally drove us away. In that area we prefer Arizona Charlies and on the West end of town the Oaisis is nice. If you're Military, although it's a ways out from town, the FAM Camp at Nellis is really great.
