Hi -- We are planning on spending a few days in Las Vegas the end of May and we are looking at either the Oasis RV Park or Sam's Town. Have read several reviews of each but they are all pretty old. I am looking for some recent reviews -- thanks

Newgma,

I stayed at Sams Town last September and was there for five days. I really like the RV park there. We stayed at the Boulder park and found it to be very clean. The sites are all easy to get into. The park was quiet and security was constantly patroling the area. The pool area and restrooms were very clean. My wife and I met some very nice people there and we made some new friends who we have met again at another RV resort. The cost was $21.00 a night including cable tv. The casino and restaurants were just a short walk across the parking lot. I will definately be staying there again when we go back in September. Hope this helps.

Agree with badwalk. Stayed at Sam's Town and liked it. You should recognize that the area is "city" so sites are not big but amentities, for the price, are good. Have stayed at several parks in LV but only last time at ST. Liked it and will return on next trip.

Both are okay, not great but okay. Small sites.

If you want a real nice park, try Outdoor Resorts. It is near the Oasis. Very large sites, Nice ammenities. About the same distance from the stip as Sams an Oasis. A bit more pricey, but in my book worth the cost.

Have fun!

We spent the month of October at the Oasis and thought it was a very nice park. The space we stay in had a nice grass strip and a concrete pad. The laundry facilities were very well kept. I drove thru Sams and thought it would be ok to, but the spaces seemed to be a bit smaller. Also had road construction on the overpass so traffic was terrible trying to get out of there. I think either would be fine, but my choice is deffinately the Oasis. ps. Outdoor resort is beautiful, but Ouch...the price. If price doesn't matter try to stay there.
