Las Vegas RV Parks

Looking for advice from the sages on RV parks in or around Las Vegas.
DW and I are going to be in Las Vegas for the first week April. I would be happy in any state park VS parking lot but wi-fee wants wi-fi and hookups.

I have read many of the reveiws online and checked out many RV Park websites. So far no luck.

Can any one recomend a good park for a 4-5 night stay.
-Two adults-no kids and leaving dogs at home this trip-
-28ft 5ver-

Thanks for the help.

Arizonia Charlies and Sam's Town are both good and are on the Boulder Highway. If you get a Casino Card you get discounted rates, and meal deals. Do not miss Red Rock Canyon, only a short drive out side LV.

We stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort and recommend it. Is about (5) miles from the strip and next door to Sam's Club which runs a free shuttle to the strip. It is as nice as it looks and the price is right.

Try Las Vegas RV Resort. Good clean well run park a short distance from Sam's Town Casino. very reasonable at $25 per night. They don't offer Cable TV (not a problem with so many local stations you can get on your regular TV antenna) but do have wi-fi. You can check out their website at: Las Vegas RV Resort | Las Vegas RV Park | Nevada | 89121. We stay there often when visiting family in Las Vegas and can highly recommend it. If you stay there, don't miss the restaurant at the Longhorn Hotel & Casino that is a few blocks from the RV park on Boulder Highway. It is one of Las Vegas' best kept secrets. Hope you enjoy your stay in Las Vegas. It is a GREAT time of year to visit.

I think Sam's Town charges for wifi. Maybe they all do?

Sam's Town

I'm here now, plenty of room for under 29', over 29' it's pretty full up. Cost is $20.12 + tax, and yes, WiFi is extra, but since I have my own, I don't even know the cost. Very nice park, good location. Pretty tough to beat for $20.

Another option is Lake Mead NRA, its about 10 miles off Boulder Hwy and was $5 a night with Golden Age when we stopped. There are a couple of CG's there, we stayed at Las Vegas Bay CG. Nice and quiet there:

Don't forget to check out the dam while you are in the area. Should be nice to visit with the new bridge in place and not as much traffic.

Check with Main Street Casino (Ask for the Hotel desk) When last I was there they had a very nice little campground, Now location wise it's next to an elevated freeway off ramp and next door to the fire dept and central bus terminal so it is a bit noisy outside, but this did not bother me so it was no problem.. IT is a short walk to Freemont St Expierence. (Main St and Freemont) and right in back of the Califorian Casino (A Main St Property)

I do not think they had Wi-Fi though. (At least when I was there) might (Likely do) have in the casino though .

The neighborhood is not the best so if you return on foot to your RV after dark a nice young man on a bicycle will accompany you back to your rig from the front gate.

And by the way, You do want to visit Freemont St. Expierence, after dusk.
