We stay at The Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. 12 miles south of the strip, quiet and like staying at a nice hotel but getting to sleep in your own bed. It's a bit pricey, but worth it, if it's the type of thing you are looking for. Still the nicest place we've ever parked the MH.

We really liked oasis RV Park. Passport America, and 10 minutes from the strip...

We stay at the Oasis, twice a year for business, (ya right). We really like it there... Big concrete pull thrus, and at the end of the strip, far enough away from the airport. The kids love the pools, and a lot of evening activities. Reasonably priced and good security.
Safe travels
Jeff

Nice time to visit the desert. We stayed at circus, I think it is KOA. Cement, gravel, fenced dog parks. Good for gamblers also. 30 & 50 amp. Has it all. Walk to casino. Gary

We like Las Vegas RV Resort since it is only $29 per night and a reasonable distance from the strip. The park has security and a gate guard, and is 1/2 block from Sam's Club, if that is of interest.

We stayed at the Main Street Casino RV Park; it was $16 for full hookups. We had considered Circus Circus but why pay ~$60/night for a parking lot with hookups when we could pay a lot less. The buffet at Main Street was a much better value than the buffets at the big hotels on the strip (we ate at both). Also, if you join the hotel's free "club" before going to the buffet (breakfast, lunch or dinner) you can save 10%. The drive from our location to the center of the strip was ~15 minutes or less and none of the big hotels we parked at charged for it and there was plenty available.

Circus KOA is closest it is a big parking lot but they are very helpful and accommodating. Oasis is at other end of strip nice place, too far to walk to things just getting to bus stop is a hike but it is nice. Las Vegas RV Resort ok, easy walk to Sams town. Easy drive to strip. We like using bus up and down strip get all day pass.

We've stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort & at Sam's Town, would recommend either. Sam's Town is reasonable with a player's card. Las Vegas RV Resort is fully upgraded and nice.

I think you'll find enough going on in the area to have some fun. Enjoy, it's a great event to see. Oh, be sure to have a camera or two ready.

We are going to the Balloon Fiesta. Arriving Tuesday and leaving on Sunday. We are joining our friends in the Beaver club. Near the President's Parking I think. On the hill east of the the launching area. We went 6 years ago and it was a blast.

Stayed in the parking lot they call Circus Circus. Close to lots and felt safe. Strange thing was my daughters family met us in Vegas and paid less for their room at Circus Circus than we did for the RV spot
