We were going to the AVI this friday for seven days but have decided to put it off until Saturday because of the winds from LA to Laughlin.

We did the Laughlin to Las Vegas run yesterday. I was concerned about the blowing dust from Searchlight north. Didn't have to worry as the snow kept the dust down. I knew we should have left a day earlier when we woke up to rain in Bullhead City. BHC and Laughlin got hit HARD with the wind. Constant 25 to 30 with gusts to 55. We could only do 45 mph to stay within my comfort zone. We arrived along with another 100,000 people expected in town this weekend. All our awnings and slide toppers in tact.

Hi Monacoach,
There are alot of empty sites but the Casino is fairley full. The weather has been nice and sunny with a little wind which is supposed to end tomorrow (the wind.)
We just got back from the Moonshadows Sunday Buffet. It is something else. A bottle of champagne for every table, Huge escargots, the size of silver dollars, Oysters on the half shell, caviar, besides the usual stuff like Prime Rib etc. All of that for $18. per head !!Waddle, waddle. Now we don't have to eat until we get home next Saturday

That buffet sounds good. Is that at the Avi casino? We ate at the Avi casino buffet years ago cant remember if it was called Moonshadow.

Ironically we just had a nice buffet at the Niagara falls view casino $20 per head. No champagne or anything to fancy but it was good.

We will be coming to that Koa probably in early January. I hope they don't fill up, sounds like it will be full across the street.

Just stayed at the Riverside for one week. Great fun. Liked the food, not the slots. They were not kind to us. $99. for one week. Lots of room, but we did move to a down the hill site because of the high winds.
