There are two campgrounds that we are considering staying at in Laughlin .. Koa Avi and Riverside resort.

Has anyone stayed at these two camps?
Are they nice? which is nicer? Do they get full in December?

I always stay at the Riverside. Its close, good shuttle bus to casino. From there you have walking or tram access to the other casinos.

But its Laughlin, and dirt sites but very adequate. Most of upper levels have awesome view of entire valley at night. Ask for one that does.

Yes, they will probably get full around Christmas and New Years. Its easy to make a reservation.

I know nothing about other campgrounds as I have stayed at Riverside for past 18 years.

There's also Davis Camp (County Campground) just north of Bullhead City across the river from Laughlin. They have full-hookups, electric/water only and just boondock sites. It's not a bad campground either. Overlooks the river and just north of the bridge going over to Laughlin.

I have stayed at KOA Avi Like most KOAs it meets expected standards. I stay there when I want to play golf as the course is adjacent to the campground. But you are limited to the Casino there, no others. And it is quite a few miles from Laughlin.
