We have stayed there a couple of times for a week. Very clean and friendly staff.
Stores within a mile of the park. Large laundry facility. All sites are sand base with paved roads.

Drawbacks, are if you do not like noise, low flying F-16 overhead flying from Luke's Air Force base heading into desert and returning. Also most sites have a sewer vent pipe sticking out of ground about seven feet and on windy days you will get a whiff of sewer gas.

They have a propane filling station on site. They will not allow you to wash your unit at your site but will allow it near the office for a small fee.

I would stay here again.

X2 on what norml said, except we never heard any plane noise. We stay at Leaf Verde every time we come through the area, DH's family lives in West Phoenix so it's convenient for us. The park is always spotless, the office staff friendly, the pool, clubhouse, laundry are clean. I don't know how friendly the other snowbirds are.
