I live in Chaparral NM, and go camping every month, usually up at Percha Dam State Park.

Temps in January can vary, but usually will get down to lower 30's at night and mid 50s during the day, we do get an occasional snow fall, maybe an 1" but melts the next day.

Just check weather channel, guess Leasburg gets a little colder says in the lower 20's

We had plans to spend a winter in New Mexico but it was just too cold and windy for us - even in the southern part. Moved over to Arizona and loved the temps.
