Will the parking lot here accomodate 36' and towing motor homes? We want to take the ferry from here to see Statue of Liberty. How far to walk to SL after exiting ferry? Any recommendations?

Sorry I just saw your post. CG has lots of room, just don't expect anything fancy. It is paved with gravel between the roads for the sites. It is just a place to land and stay not a destination. You can bicycle from CG to Liberty State Park or drive.

Do you mean Liberty Harbor RV park? I've stayed there - not the nicest of RV parks but certainly convenient for Statue of Liberty, and ferries to Manhattan. We plan on being there again in June 2011 for a week or so.
