Limited WiFi at Golden Palms RV, Hemet CA.

FYI-

Have stayed at the Golden Palms RV Resort in Hemet CA several times over the years. An excellent facility with many amenities. They used to provide unlimited WiFi for no charge, albeit streaming protocols were blocked (ok by me, as it helped ensure the WiFi was of decent quality). Was there over the past weekend and found they have changed to where just 75mb/day is free. For a charge unlimited is available at daily, weekly, and monthly rates. 75mb/day goes very quickly - only maybe an hours worth of usage for typical email, Facebook, etc. usage.

$5/day, $30/month, and there was a weekly rate but I forget how much. This allows three devices.

At that rate was the campground giving you any expectation of throughput? I really get upset when they charge you for service but the service performance (bandwidth) is low.

Yes, 10mb/s throughput DL was stated if I recall correctly. Which is fine. Shared across the 3 allowed devices of course.

That's good to hear, I don't mind paying for good service.
