Looking for a decent campground in NC Mountains

Looking for a GOOD campground in the area Boone to linville falls, or general area. Looked at some reviews and had set my mind on Flintlock Campground. Tonight reading reviews several places on the internet seems to be alot of negative reviews on alot of them in the area. Seems like alot of nice parks but old run down facilities. Not looking 5star resort, but a nice clean place to stay. I will be camping in a pop up so clean bathhouses are a must. Thanks for the help.

honey bear

Hi and Honey Bear cg has our vote. There are some spots not favorable for big rigs but a quaint little cg.

Try Bear Den Campground. Its right on the BRP between Linville and Spruce Pine. Not fancy but nice.

Thanks for the reccomendations. Bear Den looks like a nice place in a great scenic location. Reviews seem good too. Website video looks nice. In reality how clean are the facilities? I have a pop up and will have to use the bathhouses, so that is a major concern to me? Anyone have any pics of there other than the website ? Also, recomendations on section of park and/or specific site? Thanks very much for your help.
