Looking for a great family campground close to NJ

Any recommendations on a nice family campground that can handle a 40' Class A in or close to NJ? We live in Central NJ and would like to take the kids (2.5 and. 5 year old) somewhere fun next weekend. Trying to keep the drive about 2 hours from home. Don't have to have hook ups. Just a great site!

Thank you!
Bill

Hello Bill,

I am from South Jersey. I am not very happy with the campgrounds in NJ. They are older campgrounds with wooded sites that are very tight and small. Most are not well kept. No campground in Jersey has beach front camping. I wish we had some :(

The best choices in my opinion are Beachcomber , Holly Shores, and Seashore. You might have a problem at all the above. Even though they are pretty nice, it is still tight.

Have you considered going to Lancaster or Hershey? They both have nice campgrounds and plenty of things to do.
