Looking for a new spot

Hi I am looking for a little help in planning a trip. I would like a new spot other than Disney to take my family around the first of April. I would like it to be warm, have a lot of things to do and also where my son could take his boat and enjoy some great fishing. Does anyone have any ideas of a place or campground that they have been to that fits the bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and everyone travel safe and have a great time with your travels!

Disney " Land " or " World "???

It would help to know what coast you're on, and how long your willing to travel to find your spot.

Depending on what "lots to do" means to you and what you like to do, you could consider the Gulf coast anywhere from Galveston (to have the entire metro of Houston available to you) through to New Orleans and even into the areas of Gulfport, Biloxi or the panhandle of Florida.

Hi tonla96,
Anywhere along the Myakka River should be fine. Google "Myakka River RV resorts for choices. Also, consider Upriver RV Resort | Camping, Fishing, Boating, amenities, and more in Fort Myers, Florida in the Ft. Myers area. Direct river then gulf access.

There are many Corp of Engineer parks with very nice large sites and naturally, boat access on the lakes.
