Looking for a place in North Georgia

Does anyone know of a nice campground in North Georgia where I could put my 5th wheel on a permanent basis? I would like something with a smaller town, things to do around the area(day trips) and some nice hiking etc.. Want to use it as a second home and getaway.

Thanks, Tom

Sugar Mill Creek RV is nice, quiet and pretty convenient to things to do in that area.

Lot of properties for sale with the economy in the shape it's in (presuming you want to buy) Good recommendations above if you want a RV community setting. Love RIver Vista, but you would think their sites are sitting on gold bearing grounds!

I'd 2nd River Vista in Dillard. Great park to use as a base to visit other areas in N GA, Western NC, NW S. Carolina, and even Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area of TN. That includes Greay Smoky Mtn National Park. They have a separate storage site about 2 miles from resort itself. For a permanent setup, they will sell you a site-then you could leave it there. If you visit, tell'em Big Daddy DJ sent ya

Mga60tw,
Are you looking for a deeded lot to buy or just a rental?
