My favorite after living there for 19 years is Lake Jacomo, a little north

Not quite in KC but we stayed in a very nice park in Independence called Campus RV. It is actually very close to downtown.

We stayed at Blue Springs CG in Blue Springs MO near Independence. It is a county park and is very nice. We paid around $25.00 for FHU. I believe it was around a 30 - 45 min. drive to KC.

G'morning:

Just did overnight (3 nights ago) in a nice little park in Peculiar, Missouri (Yup, that's the name !) located on Rt. 71 just South from the 435/71 junction at SE corner of K.C. Name of park was....Peculiar Park Place. Seemed to be reasonable access into K.C. proper. FWIW
