Hello
I have seen Topsail SP mentioned on these forums several times, but I'm looking for some more info if anyone could help.

What is the pool like? Is there a hot tub?
Does anyone have a map that shows where sites are in relation to things, such as pool, beach path etc.? (the map on the reservation system isn't very good).

The wife and I are looking to get away, WITHOUT the kids. Want to relax, hang out at pool, beach etc. Maybe right after labor day?

Any info, opinions, or other CG suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
Pete

We stayed here 3 or 4 days 2 summers ago. Really liked it. Very beautiful. Lots of artsy stuff (fountains, sculptured hedges & bushes, etc.). Grass & trees throughout. Concrete pads to park on. Very pricey ($65 per night). No air conditioning in our shower/bath building. Needed this in July. Long hot tram ride/walk to the beach. Beach had lots of trashy sea weed. Lots of mosquitos, heat, & humidity in the park. Too far from the beach to get cool breezes. Told grandkids they had better enjoy the trip. Wouldn't come again unless November.

I was there this January and it was absolutely beautiful. I can appreciate the previous posters feelings, it could be nasty in the hot weather. I rate it as one of the top CGs that I have ever stayed at.

Pete, I have some pictures that I took last May in and around the campround. You can see the pictures here.

We are going back the 2nd week of May, so there will be some new updates of the pictures.

Thanks for the feed back everyone. Great pictures Duane, they really showed me what I wanted to know. I want to go... NOW.
Do you think it would be too HOT right after labor day? Also worried about hurricanes.??
Thanks again.
Pete.
