Looking for Kid happy Iowa area RV park

We'd like to take our grandkids(ages 5,6,7 & 8) on a 4-5 day camping trip that's not more than 200 mile from central Iowa and has lots to do for kid of this age. I don't think we'll take our toad because it's a 2 door Jeep and would not handle the 6 of us very well so our entertainment need to be at our campsite.

I've look at the Jellystone RV parks on the web but the reviews are very few and mixed. I'm hoping there are some grandparents that might have some good suggestion and advice on kid camping.

The KOA west of Des Moines has been significantly updated with new owners over the last few years. They've got a bunch of activities and amenities. Another consideration would be the Adventureland Campground in Altoona and take them to the amusement park and very well done water park that is attached.
