Looking for monthly parks in Western NC

My wife and I are trying to locate 2 suitable parks for a month stay each in western North Carolina. We found a nice one near Franklin but would like one or two more in the northwest area of the state (Boone ?). Needs to be suitable for a 40 footer and preferably have 50amp and wifi. Higher elevations preferable for the cooler temps. Don't really need pool , restrooms or many other facilities, mainly want a park with real rvers, not permanent residents or trailer park. It's awfully spooky to book a month without seeing it ahead of time, so any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Bruce

Hi, Bruce. I just did a google search for "campgrounds Franklin NC" and got hits. This was the first-I looked up rates and they have monthly: Campground Franklin NC - Cullasaja River RV Park, Franklin, North Carolina
You might also want to look in the campground forum, here and on Campground Reviews RV Park Reviews :: Franklin, North Carolina ( NC ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews You can see pictures of campgrounds and how others rate them.
Up near Highlands, a beautiful little town, it's always 15 degrees cooler than Atlanta in the summer.

Hope this helps.

Hi Twoflyrodders,
Welcome to iRV2. This CG is not open until some time in April. It is just what you are looking for. In Maggie Valley, NC there is Cross Creek RV Park, 828-926-1183. This CG is not in any directory and the owner does not advertise.

We stay in a wonderful campground called Trackrock, which is near Blairsville, Ga. About 20 miles from Murphy, NC. They have monthly rates and the other criteria you mentioned such as elevation.
