I've stayed there 5 or so times. The surrounding area is not so pretty but the park is quite nice. If you like biking there are off road trails that run around the entire park. It's a very wooded park and can be a little dusty if it hasn't rained in a while. The beach is very nice as well. So you camp in the woods but have the beach right near you, unique. Enjoy.
