Looking for RV park near Gesimar/Gonzales LA
I am going to be working in Gesimar LA and I am having no luck finding RV parks near Gesimar or Gonzales LA. Anybody know of a park near Gonzales?

Maybe contact Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops, both in the Gonzales area. They may have RV spots or can recommend some. Also down I-12 toward Hammond, Berry land RV has spots.

Amended... if you have Google maps, I just brought up Gonzales area and typed in "camp grounds" and several came up. I can't recommend any but you can check em out. They only show on the map as tiny red dots. Zoom in and click each dot to read about them.

Thanks guys,
I had found a couple down there. but that expanded the search a little. I worked in Reserve earlier this year but I stayed in LaPlace which is too far from Geismar. Keep in mind I will be working seven days a week, ten or twelve hour days, so I am kinda trying to find something close to Geismar or in Gonzales. Sometimes the Mobile home parks offer weekly and monthlys for RV's just not always easy to find on Google.

Try Lakeside RV in Livingston, its about 45 minutes from Gonzales.

Campground near Gonzales
Check out Lamar-Dixon Expo Center. They have a campground associated with the expo center. It is located just off I10 near the outlet mall.

This park is ok for a stay, if all you need is a parking spot. They do have a laundry (didn't use). They have limited 50amp spots. My 30amp plug showed signs of overheating, I had to clean the contacts before plugging in. Gravel spaces, my 30' long fiver did not leaveroom for inline parking. Not overly impressed by any means but is six miles to my jobsite and close to things I need while working, not a park for ammenities. No cable,WiFi,pools or fancy spots.
Would suggest if your interests are local to the area, but this is definantly not a resort.
