Looking for RV Park/Resort in Phoenix area

We are going to be staying in Gulf Shores for January, then heading west to the Phoenix area in mid February and planning to stay about a month. Any recommendations for moderately priced ($600 to $800 monthly rate) parks or resorts? Interested in access to bicycle trails and less congestion, if possible.

Thanks for your help,
Larry & Linda

I met a guy in FL that resides in a park in Mesa that he talked up pretty well. I believe it was named Desert Vista.

You might consider DeAnza RV Resort in Amado, AZ which is sjust outh of Tucson. Lots of safe biking in the area. Green Valley, nearby, is noted for it's separate wide biking lanes along the roads and right in front of this park is a miminally-traveled frontage road that will take you to some neat places, like Tubac.

I wouldn't consider the Phoenix area 'safe biking' although many do it. Are you more interested in off-road biking?

We have been in Mesa Spirit RV Resort Mesa Spirit RV Resort - Welcome to Mesa Spirit, Arizona for 3 weeks and are very pleased with the resort and its amenities. The best we have found so far in the area compared to others. Convenient to everything we need, not congested and lots of upgrades underway. Our first time by RV in the Phoenix area and we plan to stay here awhile.

We found our winter 2014 park!

Thanks all for your suggestions!! We have reserved the last monthly site available at Meridian RV Resort for mid February to mid March. We'll be sure to provide a review after our stay in this forum and also on RV Park Reviews.
Thanks again,
Larry & Linda...
