Looking for RV Parks near Hayward CA

We are headed west from Indiana in a few weeks to see our granddaughter. We are trying to find an RV park near Hayward and not having any luck. Either terrible reviews or 2 hours away from Hayward. Does anyone know of a decent place to stay near Hayward? We have a 2000 Damon Intruder, 36' long, and will be towing our Toyota pickup truck.

The best you can do is the Alameda Country Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. Not fancy but will allow you to be reasonably close.

Alameda fairgrounds is about it. If visiting in March make reservations soon. I was told yesterday there is a big car show so park is almost full.
Have a great trip.

Anthony Chabot Regional Park

I can strongly recommend the Chabot Regional Park; just north of Castro Valley. I think their length limit is 35' but you can reverse past the back of the pad. $44 per night, full hookup with 50 amp service (or at least 50 amp outlets; website says 30 amp service).

I live in the area and both are great recommendations. Chabot is closer to Hayward and is more of a camping experience. Pleasanton fairgrounds is a good safe park and you can walk through the fairgrounds to downtown Pleasanton, which is nice. Note traffic can be bad between Pleasanton and Hayward during commute hours.
