Looking for something to do :)

Our wives (not all mine 3 couples ) want to go here in March:

First Monday Canton - Trade Days

and so we're staying here the end of the week,

http://millcreekranchresort.com/

but the wives thinking of taking the whole week to visit 'somewhere' in the ArkLaTex area - (Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas) within a one day drive....

Looking for suggestion from you fine folks...

Is Arbuckle Wilderness anything to see ?
Any nice state parks ?

thanks in advance !

If they were all yours you would not have the time or money to do anything

Skip Arbuckle Wilderness.

Lake Tawakoni State Park Texas is nice. Full hook-ups and 50A available.

Lake DeGray State Park Arkansas is beautiful. Take a day trip up to Hot Springs.

Beavers Bend State Park Oklahoma is wonderful. IF you can get a site. Most of the park is first come, first served.

Petit Jean State Park Arkansas is great park.

Purtis Creek State Park Texas is not far from Canton. Peaceful state park.

Caddo Lake State Park Texas is eerily interesting.

That's enough to get you started.
