Great destination. We always used to park in Grand Teton and made day trips to Yellowstone Park....It's just a short drive
Have a great time

There are lots of great places to stay along that route. Jackson Hole just south of Yellowstone is a must visit, the Virginian has a nice RV park right there in town. Through Utah, just about all those little towns along the interstate are nice. We stayed at a KOA in Fillmore, Beaver, or Parowan (can't remember which one for sure) last time through. As a first stop on the way north, the Zion River Resort RV Park is real nice. It's a bit of a drive for you first day though, right around 6 or 7 hours, and it's a bit east of the interstate, but it gets you past Vegas and on your way. Enjoy the trip!

Oh, and missed that last part about hook-ups in Yellowstone. Only hook-ups in Yellowstone is the Fishing Bridge Campground, I've never stayed there. We've stayed at Grant Village (which was tight, our current rig probably would not fit), and at Bridge Bay (much more open, real nice, but the Buffalo like to eat the lawn...). But neither of these places have any hook-ups, have to rough it a bit. I've heard people like to stay in West Yellowstone, Montana. I can't recommend a particlar RV park though as I've never stayed there. Looks like there are plenty. Good luck!

If you want to stay at a very nice RV park in West Yellowstone, MT the Grizzly RV Park is perfect. We stayed there last summer and was very impressed. It's right on the edge of town so an excellent staging area for day trips. Highly recommended.

There are some Campgrounds located in Cody, WY and is 44 miles from the East Gate. Remember alot of these CG fill up fast so start calling them ASAP. If they tell you they are booked ask if they know of any other CG as most of them try to work together.
