Lost Dutchman State Park

I got a reservation there April 15-16 for the Picture Perfect Park fundraiser for my wife and I. It's a dinner and wine tasting event, with star viewing. Looks like a neat event. I found out about it last year, but it was too late to obtain tickets. My wife and I are so busy with work that it is hard to find a time when we can both take the moho out. So I figured this would be a good excuse to get out and got her to commit to it yesterday. I have always heard good things about this park so this is a good reason to check it out, see if it's worth a 70 mile drive for me! Here's a link if anybody else is interested:

It's the best state park we've ever been. (We volunteered there). Take a drive down the Apache Trail if only until the end of pavement. . absolutely beautiful.

That general area offers some of the nation's best camping, IMO!

Wow, that's an impressive endorsement, coming from an RVer who has probably been to the most state parks in the history of state parks!

Can you recommend at jeep tour while we are there? We found one that's all day, then a steamboat tour on a lake.
That sounds fun!

We had our own Jeep but people have recommended this outfit:

Beautiful area. You wouldn't guess it is right next to Phoenix! The steamboat tour is very pleasant if it's a warm day. Have fun!
