This is an old RV park with few 50amp sites. Sites are narrow, drives narrow, with a major N/S RR(between park and I65), within(100ft)of the park. Owners will not guarantee 50amp service with reservation; fee will be charged to your CC immediately upon reservation contact regardless of how far in advance you call. Last week the electricity was running 108VAC +/- on 30amp service.

Back in '01 we had the 2nd Annual Ford Diesel ralley in that park. We had RV's with slide outs touching, no where to park tow vehicles and that 160 degree turn off the freeway had three vehicles with shortbed trucks and no slider hitches missing their rear cab windows!
It is also where I had my 6 month old truck dented because of the narrow roads and big RV's.

I'll third the opinion that this campground is "Lacking".

I too was at the rally Chet is talking about. It was some kind of tight in that campground.

Darn Chet, has it been THAT long ago.... Does not seem like it.

Come to think of it, that is the last time I actually saw you and Geri.....

Heck it has been since the Branson rally in 2002 I saw Ray as well......

Hopefully we will cross paths again before long.

Who knows, maybe the National in 2006. (Where ever it may be.... )

We stayed there 5 or 6 years ago and felt the same way. No room, neighbors too noisy and close, not much in the shop. There was an RV shop just up the street and I got great service buying some electrical parts there. We were there for a meeting also.

Not a place to return to.

Yep, it was so funny. I have known that guy that ran into me for years. And he was more upset about my truck than the fact it about ripped off the whole side of his newly refurbished RV. I was talking to him after the rally. He was so upset about his RV that he sold it and bought a brand new RV at the dealership right down the street from the KOA!I can't believe that it has been that long ago. But the truck now has over 115,000 miles and the 5th wheel is gone. And we now live in Utah instead of Ol' Virginny! Times do change!

That was a fun rally. Still have the truck but the Lance has grown a bit.
