Madison WI area campground?

We will be attending an event outside Elkhart IN next week. Once done we are heading west on I-80 and connecting with I-90/39. We will travel north thru Madison enroute to Minnesota. We will be meeting up with an old Navy friend who currently lives in Milwaukee. Does anyone have experience/recommendations for a campground in the Madison area. We have a 40' MH with toad.

Safe travels,
Dick and Karen

Wisconsin Dells area is just north of Madison and has lots of campgrounds. Try this link:

We've stayed at "Sherwood Forest" in the Dells, it was very nice. Heavily wooded, big sites, good service. Walking distance to town, though you'd never know it until you walk down the trail.
Heavily wooded is not an understatement. You'll unhook the toad near the entrance, and will have to work some to get the rig in the site.

We will be going to move to Hidden Valley RV Resort today in Milton, WI just outside of Madison. It looks like a great place from a Google Earth view. You can see the campgrounds surrounding Madison here:
