Maine and Nova Scotia

Thinking about a trip for 7-10 days to somewhere around Bangor Main then up to NS. We would stay at different campgrounds for 1 plus days and seeing the sites on our motorcycle. We would like some ideas for campground and things to see.

Thanks Eddie

Hermon Maine, near Bangor, Pumpkin Patch RV Park is a great place to stay while touring Bangor area and day-trip sites. Inquire at the registration desk for what to see/do. OTOH, phone/email Maine visitors bureau now to request a visitors guide so you may pre-identify things that interest you both.
Same for Nova Scotia, you can spend a month there and not see everything. If you go in July, a "do-not-miss" is the Royal Tattoo in Halifax.

A couple of nice scenic motor cycle rides in Maine are Rt 201 from Bingham to the Canadian border and then across to Greenville and South again, And Rt 27 from Farmington to the Canadian border and then across to Rangely and Rumford and then back south. Maybe a little too far west for your trip but also lots of CGs in the area.

One of our highlight bike rides was the Cabot Trail that takes you around the northen end of Nova Scotia. Depending on where you stay it can be a full day ride all the way around.

I was thinking to stay near Moncton so it would be near 16 to Prince Edward Island also.
