Maine Diner in Wall, Maine best lobster roll, lobster pie, etc. Just south of Kennebunkport. A 1/2 mile south of Maine diner is Capt. Hook {I think}. 3 lobsters, corn, and potatoes for $33. July 2014 prices. Eat outside under trees, very nice and tasty.

Maine Lobster

Been to Maine many times
The "Real Maine" starts after Bar Harbor, and is called "Downeast".
Uncle Kippy's is the finest for lobster, in Lubec http://www.visitlubecmaine.com/dinin...urant-Inc.-12/
The best camping was here:

And the 3-masted scooners out of Eastport are about 1/2 the $ as in Bar Harbor, and the 4.5 hour whale watching sail was superb on the bay of Fundy with Eastport Windjammers.

Have a grand time!

I definately agree with Sunset Point. Kurt the owner delivers cooked lobster to your site for $7lb. Keep in mind there's another Sunset further north in Lubec. But I've never stayed there.

We have kids, grandkids and one great grandkid in Maine so we visit as often as we can which is only every other year or so. Yes Maine lobster is great. We have also ordered it online and been satisfied with the "fresh" lobster. We have also bought a case of lobster tails at Costco and those are also very good - not as good as fresh lobster out of the sea but pretty good.
