Making Reservations....tips

Any tips for reserving weekend sites? Southern Cali parks book so fast!

It's a nightmare trying to make reservations. We just made reservations for Refugio for Holloween through Reserve America. My only advice is to get on your computer at 8am 6 months before your trip. Then you MIGHT get in.

My brother lived in Modesto, after he and his wife retired they moved to Texas and haven't regretted it.

There is Flying Flags in Buellton it is private and a bit pricey but worth a call. I know they have some less expensive sites and it is very close to Solvang which makes for a very nice weekend.
Along the coast there is Emma Wood and farther down is Thornhill Broome. Thornhill and Emma Wood are right on the beach. Thornhill is right past the Seebee Base in Port Huneme and is also on Hwy 1.
You should take a weekend drive and look them over.
