I think the DW and I will visit Mammoth Caves this year for our summer respite. Anyone have some good info or suggestions on the local accomodations?

Jellystone Park at Mammoth Cave is a great place.

I am partial as I own a Jellystone Park near Buffalo. What I can tell you is that I am friends with the owner and he has done some great things there. His park is doing very well as he is entering his 4th season of ownership.

I have stayed there myself.

It is also in a good location for the local attractions.

There are a number of Campgrounds at Cave City--www.campgroundreviews.com has many listed. When we were there last year we stayed at Bowling Green KOA which was very nice (for a KOA), so we could have our rig serviced at the Camping World in Bowling Green while we went off to the caves in our toad.
