Martin Creek State Park, East Texas
We are here in site 52 until Monday - 2 June. Anyone else here from IRV2? This is a pretty park but the power plant is quite a view. Guess it depends on how it hits you. I kinda think it is neat and makes for some nice pictures - day and night. The train that delivers coal to the plant is more of a pain to me including the diesel smell from the train engines and their enjoyment of their train horn!
One negative is the distance to the bath house from our site - about 1/2 mile round trip!! I generally leave the MH for the DW and I use the bath house but not as much in this park - and no FHU. But overall the park is nice and we would be back again if the need arises.
