I know its not md but try the delaware seashore state park in rehoboth. 38 a night full hookups and 400 yards from the beach

You might want to check out Point Lookout State Park south of Lexington Park, MD. This is on the western side of the Bay.
We are currently a Camp Host at the park and find it great. $41 a night for full hook up but they have just electric sites foe less. Great beach and good fishing. You are at the confluence of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay.

We were at Assateague National Seashore in May and loved it. Bay, Ocean beach, wild ponies, it's all there.
